Nice place to eat with friendly staff and plenty of outdoor tables. Great food and lovely evening. May need to book as it does get very busy

All 4 off us tried the Katsu curry and it was lovely!The telegraph burger was nice with Chunky chips.The chicken skewers scored top marks!The kids were not so keen on their burgers but the chicken stripes went down well.The kids all eat their icecream We would definitely go again.

I was recommended to come here by the proprietor at The Poplars, and a good recommendation indeed. It has been recently refurbished. I was made welcome and the menu is very enticing. I had 2 courses and 2 nice glasses of wine, less than 50 and both the food and the service were excellent. Highly recommended, and clearly popular.

Excellent in all respects: choice, quality and quantity of dishes served, the service and attention to detail of the staff and very pleasant decor. Also there is good access for the disabled. We enjoyed a big family birthday there.

Saturday evening spent in front of an open fire with great food. I had the fillet steak which you don’t see on pub menus as much anymore and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The pub wasn’t too busy (likely because of all the firework displays going on), and it had a relaxed atmosphere, exactly what we wanted. My only suggestion would be to update some of their Guiness glasses - mine was 8 years old and a bit worn - but other than that, it was excellent.

Wow. They now do breakfast. Really really good food, and coffee to die for!! Lovely refurb so a great atmosphere too.
